Handy spice blend to have on hand for all sorts of recipes including:
- Add to your soups and stews for that extra spicy flavour hit.
- Use as rub for grilled chicken, beef, pork, and seafood.
- Goes well with seafood, especially on prawns.
- Sprinkle it in your bread mix when crumbing chicken
- Mix with olive oil to make a simple sauce and mix through rice.
- Great to use on BBQ day, generously sprinkle over your meats while cooking
- Mix in your hamburger and meatball mixes.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs cumin powder
- 2 tbs coriander powder
- 2 tbs sweet paprika
- 1.5 tsp sea salt
- 1.5 tsp ground black peppercorn
- 1 tbs dried oregano leaves
- pinch of cayenne chilli pepper – careful with this one 🙂
Directions
- Blend all herbs and spices in a bowl.
- Store in a sealed container in the pantry away from heat and light.
- Use within 6 months.
