Bold, zesty and packed with flavour, these Peri Peri Garlic Prawns are a fast, fiery dish that delivers big impact with minimal effort. Coated in our Taipan BBQ Peri Peri blend, the prawns are perfectly balanced with garlic, lemon and a rich buttery finish — ideal for quick dinners, BBQs or sharing with friends.

Ingredients

  • 500g prawns (peeled, deveined)
  • 1½ tbsp Taipan BBQ Peri Peri spice blend
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley (to serve)

Directions

1️⃣ Marinate

In a bowl, mix:

  • Peri peri spice
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Honey

Add prawns and toss to coat.
👉 Marinate for 15–30 minutes (no longer needed)


2️⃣ Cook

Heat a pan or BBQ plate over high heat.
Add butter, then prawns.

Cook for 2–3 minutes each side until:

  • Bright orange
  • Slightly charred
  • Cooked through

3️⃣ Finish

Squeeze over extra lemon juice and toss.
Scatter with fresh parsley.
