Saffron isn't just a spice, it's an expensive time Saffron isn't just a spice, it's an expensive time machine! From the Egyptian pharaohs to the Roman gladiators, this golden treasure was more than just flavour - it was medicine, dye, and even a love potion! Cleopatra used to take saffron baths to keep her queenly glow! Why so expensive? a delicate flower, the saffron crocus, giving off just three tiny stigmas each. With a whopping 75,000 flowers needed for a single half kilo of saffron, you've got yourself an epic harvesting mission that's as tough as it is pricey! The spicy side - What do you get when you mix honey, hay, and a dash of bitterness? Saffron, the spice superstar! Spanning from paella in Spain to biryani in India, packed with antioxidants like crocin and safranal, saffron isn't just a taste bud tickler - it's a mood lifter, memory booster, and inflammation fighter! Say goodbye to the blues and hello to saffron-infused dishes!#Saffron #paella #herbsandspices #spiceshop #kumaripspiceworld #buyitnow
